Ashtamangala prasnam was held during 1- 2 October 2007. Sri. Vallur Venugopala Panikkar was the chief for the Prasnam. The Prasna vidhi suggested renovation of the temple with separate sanctum sanctorum for Vettekkaran and Bhagavathy along with Upa devatas (Ganapathy, Sarppakkavu, Brahmarakshassu etc. Different forms of Parihara Kriyas were also proposed.

Parihara kriyas and poojas were performed on 4th November 2007 and during 27-30 December 2007. Hundreds of devotees participated in the programmes. Temple art forms like Chakyar koothu, Kathakali and Bhakthigana sudha were staged during the period. On 29.12.2007, Thrikkaikkattu Madathipathy visited the temple and blessed the devotees.
